Trinity LCMS in Nashville, Illinois |
2014
was a year of change. We moved to Nashville, Illinois in August when Paul was
asked to serve as Vacancy Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church. The church elders
and others helped us move into the parsonage.
Paul
leads worship, preaches, teaches, visits the homebound and tends to people’s
spiritual needs at local nursing homes and hospitals. His sermons and classes
are on http://cwynar.blogspot.com/.
Cindy
is involved in the Quilting Group, LWML, Bible Study Fellowship, Ladies Aid and
a local nursing home. She also takes Travis for obedience training.
Travis |
Travis,
Buddie and Winnie adjusted well. The cats are new on the block, but established
their territory. Travis attends obedience class and posts FB updates.
Moving
here put us closer to Matt, Kendra and Emma Jade, and Jen, Brody and Levi Ryan
(due April 2015).
In
January, we drove to Indiana after Emma Jade was born, and made a second trip
to Indiana in May. In June, we drove to NorCal to visit Jen and Brody, and
Paul’s brother, John, and Mary and Simone. There, we picked up Travis, our Golden
Retriever, from our friend, Peggy.
In
August, we visited Cindy’s parents, Tom and Peggy Harmon in Texas, and went to
the Dallas Book Depository and Winstar. Now, we explore Illinois and Missouri.
We
spent Thanksgiving at Jen and Brody’s home in Glenview, Illinois. We plan to
spend Christmas at Trinity Church with friends and family. We hope 2014 was a
blessed year for you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
